About Us.

A small, (but hey the A-Team was small too) skilled team is executing your projects. Since we are a software shop we work closely with different design agencies (see partners). If your project is time critical we extend our team with Rubyists from our network.

The simplificators are:

Lukas Eppler

Lukas studied physics - although programming stuff was always important to him. He dabbled in web development right from when it began to be called that, and kept at it since. He collected some first experience of running a company during his studies, just got out before the bubble burst in 2001, and then worked in the industry for a while. There, he acquired solid skills in Java web development and project management. Lukas likes the analytical part of the job, finding the right solution for a problem, and staying creative in approaching complex problems. He's fond of agile software development practices. Merging a modern way of executing a project and the use of Ruby on Rails as a modern technology allows Simplificator to produce cool web applications which can do more in less time with better quality.

Pascal Betz

As soon as he got his BS in software engineering he started as a Java programmer for web and desktop applications. He worked in different companies and different industries and had fantastic job titles such as 'Senior Software Architect', 'Software Developer' and 'Software Engineer'. After some weeks in India's IT capital Bangalore, where he tried to get a messed up IT project back on track, he co-founded Simplificator GmbH and lived happily ever after.

On warm (sun)days you can find him out in the nature trying to improve his climbing skills.

Marco Ribi

After his apprenticeship at Siemens AG, he studied computer science for seven semesters. In spring 2008, Marco finished the advanced training at the HSR University for Applied Science in Rapperswil. During the study period, he worked part-time in the industry and developed web applications. He joined Simplificator GmbH in April 2008 and has since taken care of several small and medium sized projects.

Beat

Beat started his career as a Perl programmer a decade ago. Since then he worked day and night to become a pragmatic programmer. Besides his jobs he studied computer sciences, is currently studying mathematics and gives lectures in object oriented techniques.
